Victim Support
Free, nationwide support for people affected by crime, suicide and traumatic events.
We are here for you, 24/7.
Your support means immediate assistance is available to victims of crime, suicide or traumatic events, right around the country, 24/7.
Donate today so that the 45,000 individuals who rely on Manaaki Tangata | Victim Support every year can continue receiving free assistance. Help make a lasting impact on victims' journeys towards healing.
By leaving a gift in your will, you ensure that the compassionate care we offer remains freely accessible to those shattered by the devastating impact of crime, suicide, or traumatic events.
Your legacy becomes a beacon of hope, empowering hurting individuals throughout Aotearoa New Zealand—today and for generations to come.
If you have chosen to include Manaaki Tāngata | Victim Support in your will, please let us know you have done this. We would love to hear more about why you have chosen Manaaki Tāngata | Victim Support as a charity and provide you with regular updates and, if suitable, connect you with the regional team responsible for bringing services to the people within your area.
We recommend having your will prepared by a qualified solicitor or trustee organisation. This ensures that it is written correctly and reflects your wishes.
For many Kiwis, expressing their sympathy by donating in memory of someone is a thoughtful and loving tribute to someone who has passed away. Donations can be put to immediate good use, making a profound impact in the lives of ordinary Kiwis facing extraordinary circumstances.
If you and your family wish to honour your loved one by asking mourners to give in their memory, donations can be made via the online payment portal above. Your funeral director can also provide guidance on inviting mourners to donate in lieu of flowers at the funeral.
Remember to put your loved one's name in the 'In memory of' field on the payment form.
All donations will be acknowledged with an immediate thanks to the giver and we can also let the family know who has honoured the deceased in the weeks following the funeral.
Have you donated more than $5 in the last four years?
Every time you donate to a charity, school, or religious organisation, you are eligible for a 33% donation rebate from IRD, but most Kiwis never bother with the paperwork involved to claim this.
Supergenerous is an easy way for you to claim back your rebate and put these extra funds to good use – whether that means regifting it to a charity like Manaaki Tāngata | Victim Support or keeping it for yourself.
It only takes two minutes to join, and you might be surprised by how much your rebate is.
At Manaaki Tānagata | Victim Support, we want to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
